Tabacco

Tabacco is used throughout the whole Amazon and there are several customs surrounding it’s uses, like the smoking of it or the sniffing of tabacco juice. In the region where our center is located, Tabacco is used by the medicinemen always for medicinal purposes and never inhaled through the lungs. For a medicineman the smoking of tabacco in the ceremony is necessary to do prayers, to evoke certain spirits, and to purify the space. Also the smoking of tabacco is a way to help remember the songs that are sung in ceremony and to have a better concentration.

The Tabacco we use is pure, organic Tabacco grown in the rainforest.
