Ayahuasca Retreat – Traditional Plant Diet – Ayahuma
The diet that we will do is a traditional plant diet according the ancestral traditions of the Cocama indians.
We will go into the rainforest to look for the Ayahuma, a recognized and powerfull medicinal tree. The medicine is prepared from the bark and is only taken once, after which a shower is taken with the fruit of the tree (only if it has fruits)
It is a well known and respected teacher within Amazonian Shamanism and used in traditional medicine to strenghten the body in general, for purification and serves as a great (energetical) protection.
This diet we will do with Ayahuma is very suitable and powerful for those who work with the Medicine already or for those who want to purify themselves physically, mentally and spiritually on a deep(er) level. The ancestors took the ayahuma to connect themselves with the spirits from nature, to learn how to cure and how to perform ceremonies with Ayahuasca.
In our region this diet is called ‘the diet of the Tzumi Muraya’. Through such diets we are able to (re)establish a connection with the ancestral spirits, (celestial) medicines and – doctors who allow us to cure ourselves on a deep level, according our true needs.
The Medicineman
This program will be guided by a native Cocama medicineman ‘Don Juan Curico’, a very humble, autentic, experienced and recognized medicineman in the community. He is a great singer of Icaros and prayers.
During this entire diet there will be done at least 5 healing ceremonies in our traditional ceremonyhouse (malocca)
We will finish the diet with a special shower with medicinal plants and flowers to´enflower the body’
which is a custom in the forest to finish and ´cut´the diet the correct way.
It serves as a protection of the aura and to attrack prosperity and love in our lives.
