Preperation of Ayahuasca

Before the Ayahuasca vine is cut, it is a custom to first ask permission and show a certain respect for this old medicine. This is done by blowing tabacco on the vine and the stronger our pure intent, the more potency the medicine will have.

Traditionally the brew consisted of Ayahuasca (the vine) and Chacruna or Chalipona, in the forest known as Huambisa (the leaves). Nowadays we see that other plants are added to the brew as well, like a few leaves or one flower of the Toe (Datura), some leaves and/or flowers of the Chiric Sanango, Ajos Sacha or Tobacco.

Here we want to say that we absolutely do not recommend the use of Toe (datura) in the brew, as it can seriously cause damage if it is not used the right way. Also it is known that by regular use of Toe our eyesight get worse and worse. For this reason we barely use it ourselves, only in some special cases.

Our preparation consists of only Ayahuasca Cielo vine (Heaven vine) and Chacruna, or Huambisa, the way it was consumed traditionally.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
